| 473-5 Broadway was originally built in 1894 as a textile and rug showroom building with M. Hohner, the famous harmonica manufacturer, on the sixth floor. The building was restored and converted to 30 residential units, including the addition of penthouses on the roof. The project was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission and the City Planning Commission. 473-5 Broadway was completed in 1999. |
