Conservation and restoration of four Manhattan Upper East Side mansions. The project consists of four adjacent early twentieth century mansions in the Upper East Side Historic District on East 62 nd Street between Madison and Fifth Avenue . The interior renovations included the restoration of the historically significant rooms to their original grandeur through the creation of duplex and triplex residential units. The exterior scope consists of the restoration of ornamental metalwork, new windows and doors and restoration of the masonry façade. The project was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2008. Construction commenced in 2008 and was completed in 2011. |
